CAESARS ENTERTAINTMENT RECEIVES PREVUE VISIONARY AWARD FOR THE LINQ PROMENADE

LAS VEGAS (October 29, 2014) – Prevue magazine and PrevueMeetings.com recently announced Caesars Entertainment as the winner for the Hotels/Resorts: Chain category in their 2014 Prevue Visionary Awards for its The LINQ Promenade. Awards were given to suppliers of the meetings industry who have “implemented forward-thinking initiatives and shown innovation in various ways, including new applications of technology,” according to Laurel Herman, President and Editorial Director of Prevue. Herman presented Michael Massari, Caesars Entertainment Senior Vice President of National Meetings and Events, with the award on Tuesday, October 14, during IMEX America 2014.

Caesars Entertainment’s The LINQ Promenade, including The High Roller, was one of 40 nominees from around the world, and it was chosen as the winner by the meeting planning community at large in its category over Marriott International, Walt Disney World Resort, Palace Resorts, and Secrets Resorts.

For meetings professionals who want a cutting-edge experience, The LINQ Promenade is the Las Vegas Strip’s first open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district. This first-class experience combined with live entertainment in this pedestrian-friendly district offers energy unlike any other. Its highlight is the world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller. Standing 550 feet tall, it has more than 2,000 LED lights that create a stunning display. The High Roller lights up each night with changing colors and patterns, which can be customized for special events. Groups can rent a single cabin up to the entire wheel for their private use, and then move to the Wheelhouse, the High Roller Meetings & Events area. The Wheelhouse offers a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the wheel while giving guests an inside look on the wheel’s operations. In addition, High Roller’s LED display customization can be coordinated with The Vortex at The LINQ’s Strip-facing entrance, a stunning architectural element that is embedded with LED lights to create a visual masterpiece unlike any other. Outside The Vortex is the 130-feet tall, three sided marquee for The LINQ, along with interactive digital directories, all of which can also be customized for special events. Event planners can utilize The LINQ to host a High Roller private event, dinner at one of The LINQ’s restaurants, followed by a reception on The Vortex with its customized LED experience. An estimated 20.4 million visitors pass by each year, making a visual impact that will be remembered long after the party ends.
